081 - Pamela Caughey - SHAPES in Fastmatte Oils - Technique Tutorial - 2...

Hey! Here are two painting demos using, for the first time, Fastmatte Oils by Gamblin Colors! I test them out using the same tools I use in cwm/oils and am working on Multimedia Artboard. The advantage of Fastmatte OIls is they dry faster than regular oils or cwm/oils, and they create a great underpainting to work on later in cwm/oils!

So, here I experiment and share my discoveries of creating SHAPE, SHAPE, SHAPE! It's hard to talk about SHAPE without also talking about design ;) I hope you will enjoy this video and share it if you like it! Pam ;)

Pamela Caughey - ART Workshop? My TRAVEL Art Supplies - Top Tips!

Hi there! Here are my TOP TIPS for PACKING your SUITCASE for an Art Workshop! I'm heading to The ENCAUSTIC Center in Richardson, Texas next week to teach my Powerful Design and Personal Color CWM/Oil workshop and thought I'd share with you my system for organizing everything both in the suitcase, and when I get to the workshop! I would love to share these tips with you because they will help you travel through security WITH your solvents, paints and even wet paintings - hopefully intact! I'll show you what I do - and please share WHAT YOU DO in the comment section! I'd love to see a discussion about this topic! Cheers, Pam

079 - Pamela Caughey - How to FLATTEN Wrinkled/Warped Works on Paper - H...

Hey everyone! Here is a NEW YouTube Video which demonstrates how to FLATTEN my large-scale Acrylic painting on paper (3.5' x 7') which
has warped and wrinkled. I like to flatten works on paper before mounting them on wooden panel (for best success!) or presenting behind glass for the best presentation.
I also answer a question many viewers have asked, "How to you FIX marks that smear"? I hope you enjoy video 79 - yes, all videos are now numbered so you can
easily find them! Happy Painting - I appreciate you sharing this post as well as hitting LIKE, SUBSCRIBE and as always, I so enjoy your comments and questions! Pam
