Lubrecht Workshop, 2013

On March 9 and 10, 2013, the MAEA (Montana Art Education Association) arranged for me to conduct a Mixed Media Painting Workshop in Lubrecht, Montana.  I was truly honored to work with so many creative, enthusiastic and endlessly energized art teachers from all over Montana.  The Lubrecht Experimental Forest Headquarters has a spacious conference center and lodge which offered all of us a peaceful and beautiful wooded getaway location--and the teachers didn't waste a minute to create over 50 paintings over the weekend, exploring many techniques in mixed media.  A very special highlight was the potluck on Saturday night--everyone pulled out their best recipes for a feast beyond compare!  Pamela Caughey
